New year, New me?

New year, new me?

First of all I would like to say a very happy new year to everybody, I apologise for not writing a post in a very long time, I have been quite busy with college shows and best of all my laptop decided to break, so I'm currently using a computer during my free lesson, but hopefully my laptop will be fixed in the next few weeks.

I know a lot of people that hate the new year, new me concept and outlook from others, and I wouldn't say its a new me, just a more experienced and grown up me this year. I have learn a lot in the way of heart breaks, friendships and being myself in the year of 2014 and I think that I might share them with you.

1.Don't pick a group and stick too it just browse around..
This isn't just something that I have learnt in the past year but in the past few, since the start of senior school, I have changed friendship groups a lot, some because we grew apart and some because I've realised certain people can be down right bitches and nobody needs that negativity in their lives. But I haven't ever been friends with just one group, I'm friends with lots of different people and I think that's nice to have a variation of peoples lifestyles because there is always something going on and it kind of gives you a break from certain other dramas with other groups. I would say that I am more of a drifter but it seems to have worked for me in the past 7 years.
I mean now I have a group and proper group me and my 3 other bestfriends and I wouldn't change them for the world, we protect each other like siblings and tell each other the gods honest truth even if it will hurt but they've taught me so much about friendship and what actually matters in life.

2.Don't mistake kindness for someone wanting something from you...
People can just be nice and caring towards you, but don't always forget that in the society we live in sometimes that's really hard to find. I have made this mistake plenty of times that certain people just use you, okay you may have been 'bestfriends' but lending people money for alcohol and other things is just a silly thing to do, and not a penny of that money has been given back, and ask me where those people are now? I don't really know, we haven't spoken or seen each other in months.
Unless this person is your down right friend that has done or offered to do the same things for you, I wouldn't because you probably won't see that favour returned.

3. Don't be an absolute mug..
This is basically me in a sentence, its how my friends would explain to people to me or in nicer terms "She is a nice girl but she just falls for dickheads." and that I have definitely realised that is true, most definitely I Hannah Tyson am probably one of the biggest mugs when it comes to the male species. You could be cheating on me and I would know, then I'd probably still be with them after they may have apologised and said they 'loved me'. YES REALLY! Or be seeing a guy and him telling his friends in front of me how many girls he had slept with.. Most girls would of slapped him one, but no not me, I was there blabbing to my bestfriend that 'he's nice, lovely, he really cares.' while she's probably planning her escape route.
Another guy, was talking to me, planning on maybe seeing where things went and I found out he was sleeping with my cousin? yes, my cousin and neither of us knew. He begged me for another chance and then he went and did it again.. So it only just hit me that I deserve way better than that, and so do so many more people in this world.

4.Don't change yourself for anyone at all..
I changed a lot as a person this year, from the way I dressed to the way I acted as a person, I really don't know why I did it but maybe I thought it would help me mature but I pierced my nose, I had a few dreadlocks and dressed like an actual freak? I really don't know why it was a phase a massive one but it may have been to fit in with the group I was hanging around with more but I changed a lot and after a while of rebelling I got bored! Then I ended up just feeling like f*ck it.. I am just going to dress the way I dress and be the way I want too, and if people don't like it then that is there problem.

So I guess they are some thing I have learnt in the past year, I hope that 2015 is full of life changing experiences, for me and for you.

Hannah xxx
